#36 Home Depot Kid Project

One of the things we've loved doing over the past couple years is going to Home Depot's Kids Workshops. They happen every first Saturday of the month and the kids get to build some neat little things each month. They also get an apron and pins for each project they complete.

The cool thing is it's totally free! Gotta love that!

Trying not to be that "Boring Dad"

The goal for this blog is to post 101 fun things for dads to do with their kids. These ideas come from a variety of sources. A lot of them are things I've made up myself. Some are things I copied from other dads. And some are ideas I found in books, magazines, or other blogs. Most of them I have done with my kids and will let you know how they worked out for our family.

PLEASE, feel free to adapt these ideas any way you like. The point is not the idea itself, but the intentional time you spend with your kids. I don't know about you, but I don't want my kids to view me as "boring". Hopefully these posts will help us evade that darkside of the parental force.
